In 2014, together with Pepe Wietholz, among others, the founding of flow:fwd, one of the leading influencer management companies in Germany. As CEO, Markus was responsible for the entire development of the agency. After selling flow:fwd to Webedia Group, a global media and tech group, he further developed flow:fwd together with Pepe Wietholz into the leading German influencer agency on YouTube, with more than 400 million monthly views on YouTube and artists with over 30 million followers on various platforms.

His operational focus is on the development and expansion of Channel F. Markus takes care of product development, analysis, strategy, financing, investor relations and acts as a sparring partner for Channel F investments and consulting mandates.

Before founding his own agency, Pepe worked in various positions at several well-known digital agencies since 2005, including Executive Creative Director at the Vanksen Group.

This was followed by the founding of the digital & social media agency strg in 2010. With his work, Pepe won a number of the world's most famous awards, such as Cannes Lions, New York Festival, Effie, ADC, London International Awards, Clio, Eurobest and more. In 2015, Pepe founded flow:fwd, including Markus, and was responsible for the creative department there. Here he developed some of the most groundbreaking influencer campaigns for the German-speaking region. Following the sale of flow:fwd to Webedia Group, Pepe was responsible for the creative development of the agency as Chief Creative Officer.

He devotes his full attention to the development of Channel F. Pepe takes care of brand development, campaigns, content production, media and acts as a creative sparring partner for Channel F investments and consulting mandates.
